Located in the small market town of Chesham in Buckinghamshire, The Othello Press is a cottage-industry publisher specialising in minority fiction, poetry and drama.

The Othello Press aims to be a responsible publisher, utilising the very latest print-on-demand technology to avoid unnecessary waste. We do not print and stock huge quantities of books in advance, but go into production every time we receive an order. So if you order one of our books from Amazon.com for example, the copy you hold in your hands will have been printed the very same week. If you are buying in bulk, your order will have been specially prepared for you. That means we use less paper than traditional publishers and less energy as a result.

The Othello Press aims to give authors a fair deal. As well as encouraging and nurturing new talent, our goal is to reward them for their efforts too. Every author signs up to a formal contract and receives attractive royalties.
